Ozone therapy begins with a full home veterinary visit. When Dr. Diaz recommends it as part of your pet's plan, the ozone treatment itself is delivered during that visit — administered in your home by the route best suited to your pet (rectal insufflation, autohemotherapy, topical ozonated oils, or ozonated saline) — along with a comprehensive evaluation to confirm ozone therapy is right for your pet and a personalized, integrative treatment plan that combines ozone with conventional care. Home veterinary visits start at $445 per pet: $445 for the Wellness + Vaccination Visit, $595 for Sick Visit + Treatments, and $695 for Sick Visits, Diagnostics & Treatments. The same concierge foundation is included in every package; care is matched to your pet’s medical needs. Every standard package includes house-call travel, one veterinarian and one veterinary nurse, a complete medical physical examination, biowaste handling, and a $250 Medical Credit toward laboratory testing. When laboratory testing is used, the $250 Medical Credit applies toward laboratory testing; laboratory costs above the credit are explained and approved before proceeding.

There is no guaranteed number of sessions or recovery timeline. Dr. Diaz recommends a plan after evaluation and reassesses whether to continue, change, or stop treatment. Ozone must not replace or delay indicated antibiotics, pain relief, cancer care, dental treatment, surgery, or emergency care. Antimicrobial findings in a laboratory or a specific dental study do not establish that ozone can replace antibiotics for other infections.
A 2024 randomized cross-over study evaluated rectal insufflation in 10 healthy dogs and reported changes in oxidative-stress measures, with measured variables remaining within reference ranges. It did not establish treatment effectiveness in sick pets or safety for every species, route, or protocol.
